Why blog?
No one is perfect, but its the pursuit of wanting to always please Allah (swt) that motivates me to be better than yesterday and always try to do what's right or prescribed in Islam by Allah and his Prophets (peace be upon them). I blog in order to send good out into the world, and to change the lives for the betterment of others - however way I can...whether its by the little things or the big. With the tools of humility, love, humor, knowledge of medicine, all the positivity from my marriage, friendships, relationships, & from the guidance of Islam - I implement it all in order to make a difference.
Why is this particular blog important?
Whether its through my own or other's life experiences... If by reading this blog, I can make someone reflect a little bit longer, smile a little bit brighter, believe a little bit stronger, dream a little bit higher, uplift, inspire, or alleviate the pain of even a single person today with just a few words that they needed to hear - then how amazing of an honor is that?
For all the times you didn't take a second "glimpse" or paused to take one - this blog is to remind you to give that moment just a few minutes longer to reveal its message. There are ordinary signs sent to us all the time by Him, to reply back to our questions and silent prayers, as subtle bottled clouds bearing messages in our sky.

How do I measure success on a daily basis?
I believe its by the amount of smiles, hugs, kisses, laughs, warmth you spread each day...& most importantly - how you do everything only to please Allah. Its the amount of good you do out there for that person, animal, or cause in dire need of that little extra "second glimpse". And surely Whoever's measuring it, is Keeping tabs of the exact amount of all you do. And that's worth way more pennies than one can count or take to the grave with them.
